Three full time surgeons work in the referral practice, Mr Gordon Brown, Mr Simon Gilbert and Mr James Tattersall, who have a wealth of experience between them. The practice has dedicated facilities, equipment and a full nursing team in support.
Ophthalmology Referrals Lorraine Fleming offers an ophthalmology referral service based at the hospital in Fakenham. Lorraine is available at the practice every Wednesday and Thursday, for consultations and surgery. Lorraine is happy to see medical and surgical cases for assessment and treatment. All types of lid surgery are performed, along with electrolysis for distichiasis. Lorraine has an operating microscope, which is used for corneal surgery, lens extractions and other intraocular procedures. If you have a possible referral then please feel free to ring and discuss the options.

Fakenham and the North Norfolk area
We are very fortunate to be situated in a beautiful part of East Anglia with many superb attractions on our door step. You may wish to take advantage of some of these during your visit to us.
Wells town and Holkham Hall with its outstanding beach are within 10 miles. Pensthorpe is an award winning wild bird and conservation park and sculthorpe Moor Community nature reserve, an SSSI situated in the Wensum Valley, are both within amile of the surgery.
Fakenham is a typical Norfolk town with a range of local shops but has a large home interiors superstore and restaurant (Aldiss) which is well worth a visit. The area is blessed with many fine pubs and restaurants offering a full arnge of culinary possibilities.
